I am Ryan Prather. I grew up in Indiana and have lived most of my life here. I love the seasons! I have lived in the south, east, and west and love the midwest the most! Second would have to be Colorado, but that is only because of the mountains! Who wouldn't love America's Mountain? I have stayed in or driven through almost every state in this great country! The only states I haven't been is North Dakota and Alaska. I have already traveled in several countries around the world. More than many people have. Spain, Japan, France, Croatia, England, Canada, and Mexico. I love traveling...especially if my wife is able to join me!

I have for as long as I can remember, I try to tell people they have a voice. We all have a voice! And what I mean by that is that we have wants, needs, desires, and dreams! I have told my children that they should not fear speaking! God has given them a voice and they should use it. Now it should be used respectfully and in the appropriate context, but they should never fear speaking up! Even if it's against me. As we go through life, we need to be able to identify these times to speak up and if they can't speak up with me then I am not teaching them and empowering them to use their voice when others are taking advantage of them or hurting them.

This blog is my attempt to get my voice out there and make it heard. My prayer is that maybe someone would read these words and connect with them somehow. If you disagree with me, I encourage you to voice that opinion in a respectful manner. And...as long as you thoughtfully consider my point of view I will consider yours.
